East Midlands Railway (EMR) has extended a helping hand to Sheffield's youth housing charity, Roundabout.
EMR's donation of more than 500 pieces of surplus kitchen equipment will help young people in need.
These essential kitchen items, including frying pans, colanders, oven trays, serving spoons, and bowls, were previously in service on EMR's HST fleet. Now, they are set to embark on a new journey, aiding young individuals as they transition into independent living arrangements.
Roundabout, a local South Yorkshire charity, specialises in offering shelter, support, and life skills to young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
